As we conclude the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, I am grateful for the opportunity to represent Learning and Life Aid Foundation and engage with global stakeholders advancing the rights and opportunities of women and girls.
During the session, I participated in strategic dialogues and side events with policymakers, civil society leaders, and development partners working collectively to strengthen gender equality frameworks worldwide.
On the margins of CSW70, I also had the privilege of engaging with Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, representatives of the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations led by Syndoph Paebi Endoni, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., and other distinguished dignitaries committed to advancing gender equality priorities.
These engagements further strengthen our work through the W-CARE Hub (Women’s Climate Recovery and Rights Access Hub) initiative supporting women and girls in climate-vulnerable communities.
CSW70 reinforced the importance of translating global dialogue into meaningful local impact, and I look forward to continuing collaboration that advances opportunities for women and girls.
