@ the ANEEJ tracking Illicit Financial Flows in Nigeria project focused on asset recovery, management, and countering money laundering and terrorist financing.
The two-day workshop in Yenagoa, strengthened CSOs’ engagement in asset restitution and monitoring, equipping participants with tools to enhance transparency and accountability.
Facilitators emphasized collaboration, legal compliance, and effective advocacy to ensure recovered assets benefit citizens and foster good governance in Nigeria’s anti-corruption framework.

The forum focused on building capacity to track the repatriated $954,807.40 Alamieyeseigha loot, promote transparency, and foster collaboration between CSOs, government, and communities for accountability in recovered asset Management.

I participated in the Werbett Security/United Nations Nigeria Webinar Series (UN Women) in commemoration of the 2025 International Peace Day, themed “Act Now for a Peaceful World.” The virtual gathering brought together 122 participants, including peacebuilding actors from Nigeria and other parts of West Africa. The discussions centered on strategic and collaborative actions to advance the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda, highlighting the urgent need for inclusion, dialogue, and sustainable interventions. It was an inspiring platform that fostered knowledge sharing, unity, and renewed commitment to building a peaceful world where women play central roles in decision-making and conflict resolution.
