We need to hear this AGAIN !

Jesus sacrificed himself for us so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; He died to destroy the yoke of Sin off of our lives.
-Hebrews 9:26

The whole purpose of Christ's death, burial and resurrection is to DESTROY THE YOKE OF SIN and bring us into FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD !

So, He died so that we can be FREE FROM SIN'S DOMINION TO SERVE GOD FREELY without any yoke of bo***ge.
-Galatians 5:1 Romans 6:1-6

The reason we are not to be friends with the the world is because EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD REPRESENT AND PROMOTES SIN(1 John 2:15) and that is the very thing Jesus shed His PRECIOUS BLOOD TO REDEEM US FROM. We cannot be friends with what once bound us !

The World is not our friend, the world is an enemy of God; it's systems, patterns and cultures DOES NOT PROMOTE RIGHTEOUSNESS !

1John.2.15(MSG) - Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father.
1John.2.16 - Practically everything that goes on in the world--wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important--has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him.
1John.2.17 - The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out--but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

The effect of the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross over 2,000yrs ago is seen in our lives today because of the Holy Spirit
He is the administrator of Salvation !
The father planned salvation.
The Son executed the plan of salvation
The Holy Spirit administers this salvation to the one who BELIEVES !

No one can be BORN-AGAIN without the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:3) !
