STATE COMMANDER MC AKPAMA MOSES CHARGES PERSONNEL TO UPHOLD INTEGRITY AT INAUGURAL STATE MEETING

​The Man O' War Nigeria, Bayelsa State Command, successfully convened its first state meeting under the current regime on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This landmark event, which served as both a formal state meeting and an inauguration ceremony, was held at the State Command Office, Complex 1, Udeme Hotel, Alamieyeseigha Road, Opolo, Yenagoa.

​The proceedings were held under the steadfast leadership of the State Commander, MC Akpama Moses. During the meeting, key appointments were formally announced to bolster the operational capacity of the state command. Following these appointments, the newly appointed officers solemnly took their oath of office, pledging their commitment to uphold the values, discipline, and service mandates of Man O' War Nigeria.

​In his address, the State Commander, MC Akpama Moses, charged all personnel of the state command to see themselves as true ambassadors of Man O' War Nigeria. He further emphasized the importance of maintaining good conduct, urging members to represent the organization with the highest standards of integrity and discipline in all their community engagements.

The Man O' War Nigeria, Bayelsa State Command, was prominently represented at the official installation of Mr. Geku Preye Williams ANTO as the 4th State Secretary-Organiser of The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Bayelsa State Council.

The event, held on Sunday, 10th May 2026, at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Kpansia, served as a powerful gathering of voluntary uniformed organizations committed to youth discipline and national service.

The State Commander MC Akpama Moses, was represented by the DSC Admin & Logistics, DMC EJ Diamond, accompanied by a disciplined contingent of personnel from the State Command.

The ceremony was marked by a spirit of excellence and spiritual dedication. The Boys' Brigade family, along with distinguished guests, witnessed the formal induction of Mr. Geku Preye Williams ANTO into his strategic role, ensuring the continued growth of the Boy's Brigade in Bayelsa State.

The delegation from Man O' War Nigeria joined in the prayers and celebrations, reaffirming the shared values of leadership, integrity, and community transformation that both organizations champion.

MAN O’ WAR NIGERIA, BAYELSA STATE COMMAND, JOINS THE NIGERIA RED CROSS SOCIETY IN CELEBRATION OF HUMANITY

​The Man O’ War Nigeria, Bayelsa State Command, reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service by joining the Nigerian Red Cross Society to celebrate World Red Cross Day on Friday, May 8th, 2026.

​The event, held in Kaiama, Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA, brought together various voluntary organizations to honor the spirit of selflessness and global solidarity under the 2026 theme: "United in Humanity."

​In a show of institutional support and inter-agency synergy, the State Commander was officially represented at the ceremony by the DSC Training, Operations & Rescue, DMC Pereama Edonyabo. The Command's presence highlighted a shared dedication to disaster management, youth discipline, and community safety across Bayelsa State.

​Beyond the ceremony, the event served as a vital educational platform. Given the unique geography of our region, participants were enlightened on proactive measures to mitigate the impact of seasonal flooding and emergency evacuation protocols.
