The State Director of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, Hon. Ndutimi Donkumo, PhD, has commended the newly appointed Director of Media, Barakumo Solomon Odede, and his team for their commitment to promoting the values and political ideology of Chief Pastor Reuben.

During a brief introductory meeting, Hon. Donkumo expressed satisfaction with the appointment, noting that Odede’s passion for Chief Pastor Reuben’s ideology and his long-standing dedication to purposeful leadership make him a strong asset to the initiative.

He praised the media team for their tireless efforts in publicising the activities of the initiative, acknowledging the important role the press plays in shaping public understanding and strengthening the message of accountability.

Hon. Donkumo emphasised that the initiative is built on hard work and integrity, stressing that “money is not the alternative,” and describing Chief Reuben as a leader who values diligence and consistent effort above anything else.

He encouraged the team to continue their unified media drive, assuring them of his support as they work towards effective communication of the initiative’s goals across the state.
The State Director also appreciated the head of THE PRIMT TV Ebiano Mild Adika for his commitment.

Hon. Ndutimi Donkumo, PhD, Director of Pastor Reuben Initiative (PRIFGLA) Bayelsa State Chapter, recently met with leaders of various NGOs affiliated with PRIFGLA, led by Mr. Pereye Okorowanta, at the National Secretariat in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The meeting aimed to familiarize the new director with the NGOs and address pressing issues affecting them.

After listening to the NGOs' concerns and suggestions, Hon. Donkumo acknowledged their efforts in enhancing PRIFGLA's growth and emphasized the importance of trust and unity among members. He attributed his appointment as director to the trust Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, PRIFGLA's founder, has in him, and assured members he would work to uphold this trust.

Hon. Donkumo's leadership is expected to strengthen PRIFGLA's presence in Bayelsa State, focusing on good governance, youth empowerment, and social accountability.

*Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson Urges APC Supporters to Welcome Prosperity Government of Governor Douye Diri into the Renewed Hope Agenda*

The Founder and National Leader of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, has called on his teeming supporters, party chieftains, and loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to wholeheartedly welcome the Prosperity Government of Senator Douye Diri, alongside National Assembly and Bayelsa State House of Assembly members, into the fold of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Chief Pastor Reuben Wilson made this call while addressing newsmen on Saturday, November 1, 2025, emphasizing that “the party is supreme” and that unity remains the key to achieving sustainable progress and development in Bayelsa State and the nation at large. He described the decision of Governor Diri and other key political figures to align with the APC as “a welcome development and a victory for democracy, progress, and inclusiveness.” According to him, this bold move reflects the growing confidence of political leaders in the Renewed Hope policies of President Tinubu and the party’s commitment to national growth, good governance, and the welfare of all citizens.

Chief Wilson, who is widely recognized as a bridge-builder and grassroots mobilizer in the Niger Delta, urged all APC stakeholders in Bayelsa State to embrace peace, unity, and cooperation in order to consolidate on the gains of the Renewed Hope government.

“This is not the time for division or internal wrangling. We must put the interest of our great party and our dear state above personal interests. The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is for all Nigerians, and we in Bayelsa must key into it fully,” Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson stated.

In addition, Chief Wilson appealed to Governor Douye Diri to be a bridge-builder as he prepares to join the APC, uniting all aggrieved persons and fostering reconciliation among party stakeholders. He urged the Governor to convene a stakeholders and party faithful meeting immediately after he formally crosses over to the APC, to promote inclusiveness and strengthen the spirit of brotherhood within the party.

Furthermore, Chief Wilson revealed that his grassroots support group — the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability — which has been at the vanguard of supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 2022, has already mobilized its members across the six South-South states, especially in Bayelsa, to be present at the defection ground to show solidarity and support for Governor Douye Diri and his cabinet members.
“Our structure has been fully briefed and mobilized across the South-South. We are ready to stand solidly behind Governor Douye Diri as he joins the progressive family under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
