*NSE Maitama Branch Seeks Strategic Partnership with Galaxy Backbone to Advance Digital Engineering*

ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Maitama Branch, has initiated a strategic engagement with Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB) to foster technical collaboration and support for its upcoming professional milestones.

During a courtesy visit to the GBB Headquarters at the National Shared Services Centre, the Branch Chairman, Engr. Itodo Thomas Ocheme, FNSE, highlighted the critical role Galaxy Backbone plays in Nigeria's ICT infrastructure. He formally introduced the 10th Engr. O. T. Otis Annual Lecture—a premier platform for innovation and policy dialogue—and sought strategic partnership for the event.

In his response, the MD/CEO of Galaxy Backbone, Engr. Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, FNSE, commended the Branch for its proactive leadership. He emphasized that sustaining a digital nation requires strong professional collaboration and the development of local capacity. Prof. Adeyanju expressed GBB’s readiness to explore areas of mutual interest, particularly in secure connectivity and data centre services.
