This is a special appeal to the governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and also to the governor of Edo State, His Excellency Godwin Obaseki to approve a state of emergency on the insecurity issues of the road between the two states, ( i.e, Jesse-Oben road, Sapele, Mosoga, Amokpe e.t.c)
As a matter of facts, this road has taken so many life's and properties of it's regular users. It is said to be a den of kidnappers and unknown gunmen. A day won't pass without hearing the news of commuters being kidnapped or shot dead. We have lost a lot of our best brains in this situation, people are now scared to their bones when plying through this roads. Sirs, I am writing this with teardrops cause of a brother (Mr. Cassidy E. Omonikukor) who was shot dead on his way from Edo state to Delta state on Monday 11th Sept. 2023 by unknown gun men. I will be grateful if this appeal is given immediate attention to enable commuters feel safe when shuttling your states.
