Thank God for the successful celebration of the 3rd Anniversary of the Initiative for Community and Moral Values (ICMV) Teens and Youth Quarterly Mentorship Programme, held on Saturday, 25th July, 2026.
ICMV is a non-profit organization committed to shaping the lives of teenagers and young people through its quarterly mentorship programme. This year's anniversary was themed "Winning Against the Odds: Making Positive Choices in a Complex World," a timely message that inspired participants to make responsible choices despite life's challenges.
We were privileged to have Mrs. Bamidele Ayobami, Founder of Like The Stars Initiative, as the keynote speaker. She delivered a powerful, insightful, and life-changing presentation that left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.
To bring the theme to life, ICMV presented an Award Certificate and a cash gift to Miss Praise Urhioke, a remarkable young woman whose inspiring journey of resilience, determination, and perseverance truly embodies the spirit of Winning Against the Odds. Despite navigating unique personal challenges, she remained focused on her dreams and successfully graduated from the university. Her story stands as a powerful reminder that challenges do not define one's future, and she continues to inspire other young people to pursue their goals with courage, resilience, and hope.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Chairman of the event, Amb. Pst. Edewor Egedegbe, Founding Executive Director of Value Rebirth and Empowerment Initiative (VREI) and South-South Coordinator of the Male Feminists Network (MFN), for his invaluable support and inspiring leadership.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our team members, partners, supporters, volunteers, and every participant whose contributions made this 3rd Anniversary celebration a memorable success.
Together, we remain committed to raising a generation of purpose-driven, responsible, and impactful young people.
