What a vibe at our cultural session. The drums were calling, and everyone showed up ready—wrappers on, dancing feet, and big energy.

We kicked off with the ugba formation, and the drummers had both young and old glued to the spot. Instructors took us through Itsekiri dance steps and songs at the same time.

The children danced in pairs, then all together, before gathering around to learn the drum names like iye ogume, oton ogume, okiri, e. t c.

Yes, a few people forgot their wrappers (we announced it o), but the volunteers held it down for those who needed help tying theirs.

The rhythm, the steps, the unity—it’s all in preparation for the Warri 5th coronation anniversary anniversary. With practice like this, we're definitely becoming experts soon.

"A clean child is a healthy child"

We had an absolute blast at our personal hygiene session facilitated by the amazing Osandatuwa Priscillia Tosan!

It started with a powerful video: a dirty child was shunned by his peers, and it broke our hearts. It sparked a deep conversation on how cleanliness directly affects our self-esteem and friendships.

Key takeaways from the day:
*Bath twice daily.
* Brush teeth for 2 minutes (sing a song to make it fun!).
* Wash hands properly: Wet → Soap → Scrub → Rinse → Dry.
* Ladies: Change pads regularly & wash pants immediately.
*Wear clean clothes—no sharing toothbrushes or towels!

The energy was high with live demos on handwashing and brushing, plus cash gifts for those who aced the evaluation questions.

As Tosan rightly put it: "Being clean isn't about expensive things—it's about doing small things every day.

Parents, let's reinforce these habits at home. Fresh body = Fresh confidence.

It was an amazing digital book review session. We explored powerful stories and their timeless lessons.

From Sick Simon teaching us about responsibility and hygiene, to Nothing's Wrong reminding us to check on our friends when something feels "off" – every story sparked deep conversations.

We also dove into The Most Dangerous Man in the Bible, exploring bravery, loyalty, and courage through Benaiah's incredible journey. Big thanks to Debi Amadedon for guiding the discussion and keeping everyone engaged with thoughtful questions!

We wrapped things up with Daniel in the Lion's Den – just for relaxation and enjoyment.

The best part? Everyone participated, shared their perspectives, and learned together. Stories truly have the power to teach, inspire, and connect us.

Big thanks to Ani Toju for an awesome hands-on session. We dismantled a tablet, explored its external parts (touchscreen, cameras, ports) and internal guts (motherboard, processor, RAM, battery, sensors), and compared it to the laptop we tore down last time.

Participants even did a spot-the-part challenge—and nailed it.

Learning by doing is the best way to understand the tech we use every day.
