As we celebrate 65 years of independence, I am reminded that nation-building is a collective duty. Each of us has a role to play, as the Nigeria we desire can only emerge when we all choose to do the right thing in our homes, communities, and spheres of influence.

As we reflect on the theme “All hands on deck for a greater nation”, I urge you to stand united, purposeful, and committed to building a nation anchored on dignity, justice, and peace as we watch the tide of Nigeria turn gradually into the nation of our dreams.

May Nigeria be greater, prosperous and peaceful.

On behalf of the Iru Community Development Association (CDA), we extend our profound gratitude to *His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, the Oniru of Iru Kingdom, CON*, and the *Oniru Estate Office* for graciously hosting the recent *Community Engagement Session* with the residents of *Iru Resettlement*.

This thoughtful initiative, facilitated by the Iru CDA, served as a meaningful platform for dialogue, enlightenment, wellness, and development-focused conversations. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, CON, Abisogun II, the revered Oba Oniru of Iru Kingdom, for generously providing the excellent training facilities at the Oba Oniru Training Centre, Onigefon Road, Oniru Estate, for the just concluded Speed Up Lagos training program. The state-of-the-art facilities were instrumental in the success of the two-week training for 200 youths and adults in the Iru/Victoria Island LCDA. Your royal support has gone a long way in empowering our community and setting the stage for personal and professional growth for the participants.

We also wish to convey our deepest thanks to the Secretary of Iru/Victoria Island LCDA, the Deputy Leader of the Legislative Arm, and the Chairman of Iru CDA, Hon. Prince Ajasa Murisiku, Hon. Joel Arowosegbe, and Alh Ajenifuja Adebayo Kamar respectively for their unwavering support and commitment throughout this initiative. Your leadership and contributions were vital in making this event a success.

A special mention goes to the Managing Director of Speed Up Lagos and all the dedicated instructors whose expertise, passion, and hard work ensured the delivery of high-quality skills acquisition to all participants. Every masterpiece you see today started as a vision in someone’s mind—an artist who put in the work to turn an idea into reality. The world is full of creators, and as time passes, new innovations emerge, changing lives and solving problems.

But here’s the question: Do you want to be the one creating, or will you stay on the sidelines, applauding those who do?

We’ve been given everything we need to create—brains, resources, and the power of imagination. God has already done His part by creating us. Now, it’s our turn to use those gifts to shape the world and make life easier.
