CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE KINGDOM OF LESOTHO ON THE OCCASION OF ITS 60TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

On behalf of the Lead Pastor M. Tommy and the entire Peace Ark Ministry family, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Letsie III, the Government, and the good people of the Kingdom of Lesotho as you commemorate your 60th Independence Anniversary today, 4th October 2026.

On 4th October 1966, Lesotho attained sovereignty, emerging as a proud constitutional monarchy and a symbol of peace, resilience, and dignity in Africa. For six decades, the Kingdom, renowned as the Kingdom in the Sky, has upheld the noble legacy of its founder, King Moshoeshoe I, anchored on dialogue, unity, and hospitality.

We commend Lesotho's steadfast commitment to democracy, peacebuilding, and regional cooperation within the Southern African Development Community and the African Union. Despite its geographical uniqueness as a nation fully enclaved and elevated, Lesotho has consistently demonstrated that greatness is not determined by size, but by strength of character.

As you celebrate this diamond jubilee under your national motto of Khotso, P**a, Nala — Peace, Rain, Prosperity — we pray for continued peace, economic advancement, and prosperity for all Basotho.

May the Kingdom continue to prosper in unity and peace.
Congratulations!
