The process is tough. Usually, it begins like a joke, then it begins to settle like a mirage, then scripted to become concrete, then executed and improved upon as the living document that it is.

We are intentionally putting in the work day and night to make things happen.

The 2025 script's ex*****on has long begun. We make the sacrifices for the collective good of the swine industry in Akwa Ibom, designing a scalable model. It's worth it.

The state's and country's pork market is huge. Pork lovers deserve healthy, better processed pork. Pig farmers deserve reward for their sacrifices. Our mission is to make it happen.

The process is as important as the result.

We are contributing to organizing the Akwa Ibom swine industry. We can't wait to see the APFA EoY become an Annual Pork Festival.

Effective January 1, 2025, we will start accepting blog articles all-year-round for publication on the Akwa Ibom Pig Farmers Association website: https://sites.google.com/view/akwaibompigfarmers/blog

You don't need to wait till then. Start preparing your articles now.

*Submission Guidelines* (these guidelines shall be reviewed and updated from time to time):

* Article must be focus on the pig industry, especially the Nigeria pig industry.

* Article must not contain promotional, marketing or advertorial materials.

* Manuscript must be submitted in *Word document* format.

* The articles must be author's original work. It shall subjected to plagiarism check using tech tools such as Turnitin. Any article with more than 7% plagiarism count shall not be accepted.

* The manuscript will be subject to editing. The edited work shall be reverted to the author for correction(s) and resubmission.

* The finally accepted work shall be published on our blog based on available dates.

* Article publication shall be FREE. Until otherwise decided by the association, neither will the association pay the author nor the author pay the association for the blog articles.
