TIMS served as our Platinum sponsor during the February Cancer Power Walk and the Investiture of our 17th President.

This courtesy visit was both timely and necessary in a bid to further strengthen the existing partnership and serve as a reminder of the commitment pledged toward the fight against cancer and the Fifty Million Naira (₦50,000,000) Cancer Endowment Fund.

The Association was warmly received by the management of TIMS, led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Teinye Isokariari.

During the engagement, the team interestingly noted the effective, ongoing work by the Akwa Ibom State Government to position the state prominently on the global map through the Ibom International Hospital.

In her address, the President, Dr Mary Udoh, categorically highlighted the ongoing initiatives of the association, particularly the operations of the Well Woman Clinic.
While expressing her deep appreciation to TIMS, she reiterated the crucial need to intensify the partnership to achieve our shared goal: kicking cancer out and improving the livelihoods of women and children.

In his response, the Managing Director of TIMS entirely agreed with the President's sentiments. He promised that the organisation would continuously work with the association, fondly affirming that women are the backbone of any society.

Furthermore, he called on the association to partner closely with the Akwa Ibom State Government to actualise the ARISE Agenda, which prioritises healthcare delivery across the state.
