☕ TUESDAY TEA AT THE LEADERSHIP CLINIC
THE CYCLE OF LIFE: inherited timelines ➡️ unconscious conformity ➡️ questioning the script ➡️ Breaking the patterns ➡️ Transformation ➡️ intentional living.
It's another Tuesday to sip it hot 🔥
I have had one question in my mind;
Who wrote the script for how life is supposed to go?
Go to School. Graduate. NYSC. Get a job. Make money. Get married. Have children. Build/buy a house. Build a career. Retire. Die.
A life so well scripted and handed over to us, not even by the one who has our blueprints, but by the society who have no clue of what's going to happen tomorrow.
But, What if you don't want your life to be a checklist? What if you don't want to go to school? 🙃 What if you don't want to go for NYSC?
Does that mean your life has spoiled?
Absolutely, No.
We've become so accustomed to the cycle that we never examined it.
At 22, you should be doing this.
At 25, you should have achieved that.
At 30, you should be married.
At 35, you should have figured everything out.
At 40 you are striving not to be the fool at 40.
Eiiiii!
And if your life doesn't follow the expected sequence, you start thinking that something is wrong with you. Even the society looks at you like a broken playlist.
A piece of advice for free; life was never meant to be lived as a timed sequence of milestones, but according to God's timing.
Talking about God's timing is the best, we don't even know that time.
Sighs. Being an adult is hard work already
Sha be like me and learn to question the script.
Make your choices consciously, deliberately, intentionally. Understand what matters to you. Build a life, but with your own model, sculpture and artwork
The goal is not to live the life that was handed to you. The goal is to discover the life you were designed for.
