Today myself and Evelyn Eyo of Safe Space Development Foundation visited Samuel and his siblings in school to see their academic progress and pay their fees for this term.
It was really heartwarming to be informed that Samuel came 2nd in his class of 18 pupils last term.
We were also told that there are other children from the same community (Mbikpong Atai in Ibesikpo LGA) who need education support as their aged grandparents can barely cater for their school needs.
We hope to get more funding to enable us extend our support to more children.

Two weeks ago, we met 8yrs old Samuel during school hours on the back of a tricycle truck heading to Nung Udoe for menial jobs. Upon enquiry, he mentioned that he wasn't in school because himself and his siblings were sent home for not paying the fees for this term and outstanding for last term.
Guess how much he was sent home for??? 12,000 Naira only.
We went to his school where we paid up his fees for the current term and offered to clear the outstanding for last term on our next visit.
We discussed the development casually with Evelyn Eyo, Executive Director of Safe space development foundation (SHADEF) who accepted to accompany us to the school on our next visit.
In partnership with SHADEF's Executive Director, Evelyn Eyo, we will be footing the education bill for Samuel and his siblings, including fees, uniforms, books and every outstanding fees.
We would love to support Samuel and his two siblings' entire primary education with your support.
