Report of Handover Fellowship

The Handover Fellowship of the Rotaract Club of Uyo City was successfully held on Sunday, 21st June 2026. The event was graceful, colourful, and recorded a commendable turnout of members and guests.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Rtn. Sylvester Kalu, President Elect of the Rotary Club of Uyo Metropolis; Rtn. Utomobong Inyang, President of the Rotary Club of Uyo; and Rtn. Reginald Solomon, New Generation Chair.
A major highlight of the fellowship was the presentation of the Annual Report by the outgoing President, Rtr. Emerald Udom, where she gave an overview of the club’s activities, achievements, and progress recorded during her tenure. In recognition of the support and commitment of her Board of Directors, she also presented them with Certificates of Service.
The incoming President was formally introduced to the responsibilities and expectations of the office. Words of encouragement were shared, with emphasis on building on the achievements of the outgoing administration and striving for even greater impact in the new Rotary year.
The fellowship recorded a total attendance of 26 persons and provided a memorable opportunity to celebrate service, leadership transition, and continuity within the club.
Overall, the Handover Fellowship was a great success and a rewarding experience for all present.
