This International Youth Day 2026, Youth for Change Initiative (YOFCI) celebrates the resilience, creativity, diversity, and limitless potential of young people everywhere.

Our differences do not divide us; they strengthen us. Our shared aspirations unite us. And when young people come together, we have the power to turn ideas into action and create meaningful change.

Let us continue to LOOK beyond our differences, LEARN from one another, and LEAD the change we want to see.

YOFCI Joins Call for Greater Women’s Inclusion in Politics

Youth for Change Initiative (YOFCI) participated in a one-day interactive session on Women’s Inclusion in Politics, organized by Women’s Initiative for Self-Actualization (WISA) with support from Urgent Action Fund Africa (UAF-Africa) in Uyo.

The session brought together women leaders and stakeholders from political parties, NAWOJ, and civil society to discuss strategic coalition-building, internal party reforms, equitable nomination processes, and accountability for fair treatment of women in politics.

YOFCI believes that when women participate meaningfully in politics and leadership, they can challenge exclusionary norms and contribute to transforming their communities and society.

We remain committed to supporting inclusive governance and strengthening platforms that amplify women’s voices in Nigeria’s democratic process.
