I want to say a big thank you to all our guests who took time out from their busy schedules to come forward and support our students and institutions, you guys are truly great and God bless you. Thank you Dr. Akanimo Odon, Mrs Deby Okoh, Ms. Carol Barlow, Mr. Richard Morgan and his assistant. Wish you a safe flight back to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧.
I also want to thank in a special way, all the students who turned up for the event, which unfortunately didn’t hold (we are planning for something bigger in December first week). I want you guys to know our guest arrived Uyo for two days but on the dying minutes to the event, certain informations were made available to us which made it impossible to go forward with the event, for example, we only knew a few hours to the event that the 1,000 LT in town campus, University of Uyo, was made available to us for only two hours! Of course, our students don’t turn up on time so it was pointless starting what we clearly couldn’t finish. And many other things I wouldn’t want to mention here.
This of course has led to deep thinking on my part about the level of distortion in all things. We will get there.
We know what we are up against and what needs to be done. This is a war of liberation of the minds of our people; it is the most difficult war.
PS: Coinsidentally we bumped into the DVC Academic, Uniuyo at Ibom Airport and forced her to take a picture.😂
