Creating a supportive family for the marginalised minority youths and nurturing dreams and talent💡

Ubon Humanitarian Foundation is being founded and registered in Nigeria as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in 2023. It is a non-profit and charity organization that aims to establish a supportive family for young people – irrespective of s*x, race, ethnicity, tribe, religion, gender and s*xual orientation – to enable them discover, develop their talents and pursue their dreams. Thereby, attaining self-fulfilment and effecting positive change in society. The unique character of Ubon is encapsulated in her name “UBON” which loosely translates to “FAMILY”. As family, Ubon aims to embrace all young persons, especially the rejected, dejected and vulnerable in the society. Ubon fills this void while creating an enabling and inclusive environment in several mental and social impact projects aimed at motivating creativity, self-expression, and the development of talents and skills for holistic development and fulfilment.

UBON IS 3! 🎉❤️

Three years ago, we began with a simple but powerful belief. A young person's circumstances should not determine their future.

Is that correct?

Three years later, we are still learning, growing, creating opportunities, and building spaces where young people can discover what is possible.

Today, we celebrate the journey, the people, the lessons, and everyone who has been part of it.

We also celebrate 1 year of Ubon-Dominican Football Club, another expression of our belief in the power of young people, community, teamwork, and purpose.

Three years behind us. A new chapter ahead.

Different Contexts. One Family. Common Aspirations.

Young people may come from different backgrounds, face different challenges, and dream different dreams.

But there are aspirations that unite us all: the desire to learn, to grow, to belong, to have opportunities, and to become something greater.

For the young footballers of Ubon-Dominican FC U17 Camp 2026, those aspirations brought them together under one message:

WE ARE FAMILY.

For ten days, football became more than a game.

They trained on the field.
They learned about life beyond the pitch.
They served others.
They reflected.
They competed.
They laughed.
They grew together.

As they receive their certificates, we celebrate more than the completion of a camp.

We celebrate young people taking another step towards the future they hope to build.

The journey doesn't end with a certificate.

Keep growing. Keep serving. Keep believing. Keep pursuing excellence.

From building faith, strengthening discipline, and developing technical football skills, our campers have been learning that greatness is about more than talent.

Today, we shift our focus to Family of Humanity—discovering the power of community service, servant leadership, and football with purpose. They'll also learn more about Ubon Humanitarian Foundation and why we believe football can transform lives both on and off the pitch.

THE WAIT IS OVER!

The countdown has begun.

UBON-DOMINICAN FC U17 Residential Camp 2026 officially begins this Monday, 3rd August 2026.

For 10 days, young footballers will experience more than training. They will grow in faith, discipline, leadership, teamwork, character, and football excellence under the theme:
"We Are Family: Faith • Humanity • Discipline • Excellence."

Date: 3rd – 12th August 2026
Venue: Dominican Schools, Oyigbo

The journey begins on Monday.

Welcome to July!

The first half of the year may have come with challenges, unexpected turns, victories, and valuable lessons. As a foundation, we have experienced both the highs and the lows, and we know many of you have too.

But July marks the beginning of a new chapter. Instead of dwelling on what didn't go as planned, let us focus on what is still possible. Every lesson learned is an opportunity to grow. Every setback can become a stepping stone toward greater impact.

The second half of the year is a chance to improve, correct our mistakes, strengthen our purpose, and make every remaining day count. There is still time to create meaningful change, touch more lives, and achieve the goals that matter most.

As we step into this new month, may your heart be filled with hope, your path with new opportunities, and your journey with peace, joy, and renewed strength.
