It has been brought to our notice that an individual identified as MC John David with this Facebook account has been using the name of Heal the Land Initiative in Nigeria (HELIN)to carry out fraudulent activities in Taraba, Benue, and other states within that region.

We wish to clearly state that MC John David is not a staff member, volunteer, partner, or representative of Heal the Land Initiative in Nigeria. Our organization does not know him and has no affiliation whatsoever with him.

Members of the public are strongly advised to avoid any dealings, transactions, or engagements with this individual, especially regarding job offers or any activity conducted in the name of Heal the Land Initiative in Nigeria.

As a matter of fact Heal the Land Initiative in Nigeria does not have any operational office at Taraba or any other states except Akwa Ibom State

Day 2 on Capacity building workshop on HIV, TB and Malaria Advocacy organised by Lawyers Alert.

Earlier today HELIN team participated in the day 1 of the two days capacity building workshop on Evidence-Based Advocacy for an effective Gender-Based HIV, TB and Malaria response by Lawyers Alert Nigeria and Media Health and Rights Initiative of Nigeria.

The training aimed at addressing gender barriers in the HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria response in Akwa Ibom State, participants gained more knowledge on evidence-based advocacy, emphasizing on gender-focused mainstreaming in tackling policy reforms to improve access to health care.

Present were Hon. Moses Essien, a member of the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly Committee on Health, Mr. Enobong Akpan State Program Manager AKSACA, Executive Directors/Program Managers from CBOs as well as other stakeholders.
