What an incredible way to mark our 4th Anniversary! 🎉❤️

Yesterday, February 14, 2026, ACORN Foundation (FTP) visited the amazing students at the Special Education Center (School for Inclusive Learning) in Uyo to celebrate our 4th Anniversary with them. We brought joy, refreshments, toiletries, sanitary products, and essential writing materials tailored for the visually impaired and blind students. But the real highlight was sharing our anniversary cake with these wonderful children and feeling the pure happiness in the room! 🥳🍰

Their smiles lit up the entire space, and we left even more grateful and inspired. Being with them was the best celebration we could have asked for.

Inclusion, love, and support for every child, that's what we're all about. 💙

We at ACORN Foundation FTP made a visit to the SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTER (SCHOOL FOR INCLUSIVE LEARNING) in Uyo on the 30th of Jan 2026 to inquire about how we can make life easier for the beautiful student there.

The Foundation members led by Mr. Etido Anthony Edem were welcomed by the Principal of the center Mrs. Ememabasi Issac. After the introduction and the purpose of the visit by Mr. Etido, Mrs. Ememabasi thanked and applauded the organization for its consideration to celebrate our anniversary with her students.

She disclosed the inclusivity of the special needs students she has in the center, including the blind, deaf, dumb, visually impaired, and other physically impaired students..

She further disclosed that some assistance/support do come from the government which includes feeding amongst other things. However, below are the list of thing that will help make the life’s of the students easier:
1. Grail Papers
2. School Bags
3. ⁠Sandals
4. ⁠School Uniforms
5. ⁠Toiletries ( sanitary pads, tissue papers, washing soap, bathing soap, and izal). Other necessary items needed are some medications for their health facility in the center.
