SCHOOL TOUR EXPERIENCE

Our commitment to building a balanced and future-ready educational system continues to inspire every step we take. Beyond teaching core subjects, we believe students deserve practical, real-life skills that help them think, create, and become more productive individuals.

Our recent school tour was a heartwarming reminder of why this mission matters. Watching the students engage deeply, participate with excitement, and ask thought-provoking questions reaffirmed the need for more innovative learning experiences in our schools. Their curiosity, energy, and eagerness to learn showed that when given the right exposure, our children can rise to any challenge.

This tour wasn’t just an activity — it was an opportunity to spark ideas, broaden perspectives, and encourage students to see learning as a tool for building a better future. We are excited to continue empowering young minds across Akwa Ibom State.

Empowering Future Leaders!

The Hanson Foundation School Tour has been one of the projects that has helped us impact and shape more lives. We were out again on last Friday to share valuable insights on effective communication in leadership!

Our team engaged with students in an interactive session, discussing key aspects of successful communication, such as:

Active listening
Clear messaging
Emotional intelligence
Feedback and adaptability

We believe that by equipping young minds with these essential skills, we can shape a brighter future for our communities!

THE TEAM
Yesterday the team had a fun learning time during the school tour movement even while I was away. It happened to be the best of the moments so far.

They considered the subject of Emotional Intelligence as it has to relate to how they can manage their emotions, communicate their emotions without hurting another person, and understand other people's emotions.

It was indeed a time where the children were very open minded to learn as some of them asked questions that were thought provoking helping us serve them better.

This outing has always been one of the best moments where we are able to teach the younger generation what we know and share with them our experiences.

I am grateful to my teammates for pulling this off yesterday;

OUR FIRST OUTING FOR THE YEAR
Going out everytime to teach and offer guidance to the younger generation has always been the most fulfilling thing of all time.

Today we considered the subject of leadership from the angel of self-leadership and time management. Every moment was interactive and interesting.

We were shocked by the students with the definition of who a leader is, this blew our minds because they gave the most acceptable and accurate definition of who a leader is.

"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and leads the way".

We had a great time interacting with them and we are committed to this course for the longest and we are looking forward to a bright future and building a more balanced society with these ones.

Thank you to our senior friends and mentors who have instilled in us the things we do and freely give now.

Thank you More Leadership Academy for teaching us leadership with the best practical models.

Thank you Ivan Model Schools for being part of this journey.
