ITAM SECONDARY SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (ISSOSA), HOLDS ITS 2023 CONFERENCE/AWARDS.

Itam Secondary Old Students Association (ISSOSA), is holding its 2023 Conference/Awards, on Saturday, December 23, 2023 by 10am.

In a release signed by the International President, Mr Obot Obot and Secretary, Pastor Idy James, the activities of the event begins with a conference/Awards by 10 am, to be rounded off with a novelty football match between the old students and the regular students by 4.30pm @ the School Premises

The Theme of the conference is, "Dwindling Educational values-The way Forward".

The Keynote Speaker is, Prof Anietie Efi, of the Business Admin Department, University of Uyo.
Chairman of the occasion, Akparawa Okon Imerh, FIPRN.

The release invites all Old Students, Principals, and teachers to the Conference.

Meanwhile, the International President has encouraged all classes, individuals and Chapters to identify and complete a Project, as government cannot do everything for the school.

He singled out Madam Mfon Umana, a US-based ISSOSAN for building and furnishing a hostel block for girls, in the School early this year, saying 'better days are here for Itam Secondary School.

Notice of Port Harcourt Chapter Meeting!!!

There will be a general meeting of Port Harcourt Chapter of Itam Secondary School Old Students Association (ISSOSA) tomorrow, 06/08/23.

Venue: Big Johnny Bar/ Barbecue, 8 Orazi Road, by Market Junction, Mile 4, PH.

Time: 4pm prompt.

Catering for ourselves and meeting the needs of our school are desirable priorities. Kindly attend and bring those outside into the fold.

NEWS: ISSOSA CALABAR CHAPTER CELEBRATES 5 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

On Sunday, June 25th, 2023, the Cross River State, Calabar chapter of the Itam Secondary School Old Students' Association (ISSOSA) held their 5th Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service. The event doubled as a 5-year anniversary and thanksgiving to God for His goodness.

This was to celebrate while thanking God for the successful five years of existence of the association in Cross River State, Calabar. The event took place at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Etta Agbor Road, Calabar, at 9:00 a.m.

The event had an interactive session after the church service, followed by the cutting of a cake to mark a successful 5 years. The event was a huge success. The entire family of ISSOSA at home and abroad applauded this exercise and congratulated them for the success thus far.

The International President of ISSOSA sent his regards and also encouraged them to continue to promote the ideals of the association and the alma mater that they represent while also pushing harder to increase their numbers by their next meeting.

DECORATION OF MR EBONG EYIBIO AS AIG OF THE NIGERIA POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION

It was a remarkable show of love and solidarity as ISSOSANs in Abuja chapter and other chapters went out in mass to celebrate with AIG Ebong Eyibio on his elevation and decoration as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of The Nigeria Police Force on the 21st day of June, 2023 at The Force Hqtrs, Abuja.

The event also witnessed the presence of dignitaries like former and current IGPs, Governors, Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor, former Teacher of Itam secondary school and Deputy Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Kufre-Abasi Edidem, and a host of other delectable sons of Itu.

Well-wishers, friends and loved ones were not left out as they graced the occasion and made it memorable for the AIG.
