Building Relationship

"A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need. (NLT)"Proverbs 17:17

It's almost expected for our friends to be loyal and our family to help but there is a precursor to this that we don't always think about. These relationships need to be nurtured. Have you reached out to a friend lately to offer some help or simply meet for lunch? Make an effort to engage in an activity together with a friend or family member. Building your relationships will not go unnoticed over time.

May God help me to be a builder and not a destroyer in Jesus name. Amen.

What A Reward For Being Faithful.

What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. (NLT) ( Luke 6:22 )

It's true, being a follower of Christ is not always a popular decision, and it may bring troubles. Like rooting for the losing football team, you may be mocked, excluded, and cursed. But when the fourth quarter comes and suddenly the losing football team has the upper hand, isn't that a glorious win? Those loyal to the team are rewarded in victory. Take heart in knowing that God blesses those who endure trials for being a Christian.

Help me my Lord and Savior to endure the ridicule knowing that at the end I will rejoice in You.

Good morning my people. Remember that it is not over until it is over. So keep smiling for God will indeed reward you. Amen.

This world is filled with turmoil. Trauma, loss, evil, and trials cover the headlines and touch all of our lives at one point or another. Peace is hard to find! It’s such a gift. God gives us His peace, in the midst of living in a tumultuous world.

*NIGERIANS - NOTHING WILL CHANGE UNTIL WE DO!* (Revisit)

If we find ourselves guilty of any of these behaviors, it’s not prayer we need but real transformation!

IF YOU WANT TO SEE A DIFFERENT NIGERIA, START WITH YOURSELF!

Romans 12:2 emphasizes that TRANSFORMATION begins in the MIND!

We yearn for change and pray for improvements:

📍Yet we refuse to queue patiently!

📍We expect our drivers to disregard one-way signs because we’re in a rush to dodge traffic!

📍We pressure others to bypass the rules to put us ahead, promising rewards for compliance!

📍We want schools to alter their policies for our children!

📍We manipulate the system to get our children into universities for which they are not unqualified.

📍We attempt to bribe judges to sway their decisions in favour of our loved ones!

📍We carelessly throw litters from our cars and home onto the streets!

📍We drive recklessly and blame others for our poor behaviour.

📍We operate vehicles without proper documentation and attempt to bribe officials when stopped!

📍We treat those who work for us as if they are less than human!

📍We scold airport, band or hotel staff who are simply doing their jobs!

📍We flaunt our status when we feel slighted, demanding the respect we think we deserve!

📍We abandon our principles for personal gain the moment a tempting offer arises!

📍We disrespect our drivers and treat them poorly!

📍We exploit domestic workers while demanding equal rights at our jobs, all the while preaching about equality in our places of worship!

📍We coax our employees into dishonesty, using them as witnesses to falsehoods, then wonder why they lie to us!

📍We crave security but become irate when security personnel question us.

📍We wish to see change in our youth, yet we live hypocritical lives in front of them!

📍We complain about tardiness in others, yet when invited to events, we arrive late, believing others will do the same. If everyone thinks this way, how can events start on time?

📍We subtly intimidate those who disagree with us from the podium because the pulpit is our coward’s castles!

📍We expect our followers to vote for our preferred candidates, denying them their freedom to choose!

AND YET WE CALL OURSELVES CHRISTIANS WHO DESIRE CHANGE IN NIGERIA WHILE REFUSING TO EMBODY THAT CHANGE! 🤷🏽‍♂️😰

UNTIL EACH INDIVIDUAL'S MIND IS RENEWED AND TRANSFORMED, THE CHANGE WE LONG FOR WILL REMAIN OUT OF REACH!

When each person begins to think independently with positive change in mind, that’s when we can truly transform our communities and pave the way for meaningful change.

▪️Only then can our nation truly be free!
▪️Free from the pests that have devoured our society
▪️Free from the emotional manipulation of those in power!
▪️Free from marginalization!
▪️Free from the grip of exploitative individuals!
▪️Free from tribal divisions!
▪️Free from the fear of others!
▪️Free from the mentality of subjugation imposed by our own!
▪️Free from the poverty caused by a select few!
▪️Free from unnecessary tragedies!
▪️Free from hypocrisy!
▪️Free from spiritual manipulation and deception!
▪️Free from self-defeating attitudes!
▪️Free from the stronghold of religion!
▪️Free from the evils we have accepted as normal!

THIS IS MORE THAN JUST PRAYING!!!

Rooted In HIM - JESUS CHRIST.

"The Christian life is never stagnant. Once we accept Jesus we must continue to be vigilant in the choice to follow after Him. As we grow in our understanding of who He is, the Bible, and grow strong ties to other Believers then deep roots of faith grow in our lives. When we are rooted in our faith we are able to stand strong when we go through the storms of this life."

"Solomon, the wisest man, told us to guard our hearts. It can be easy for our hearts to be deceived if we lack awareness. The best solution is to surround ourselves with Godly people and listen to their advice, as it's difficult to see deception ourselves. Is there an area in your life where more than one person has been trying to tell you something?"

*DIVINE CONVICTION !*

One of the tragic relics of modern media is that many people live on opinions informed by self assumptions or hearsay rather than conviction borne out of the revelation of the truth.

Conviction requires contemplation of the revealed truth of God’s Word; this leads to total conversion and obedience to God. Thus, what saves us is not a popular opinion about Christ; it is our faith in HIM which is expressed in our thoughts, words and actions at all times.

I pray that we will live always with the conviction of knowing whom we believe and why we believe in Jesus Christ’s mighty name! Amen.
