In continuation of our care for some aged widows who are on the careroll of Gospel Dorcas Foundation, our June outreach saw us visiting some of them with their medications, food items, beverages and some cash.

As always their prayers for us and all the partners of Gospel Dorcas Foundation stir emotions in us.

Once again we echoe some of their prayers : "May God, the husband of widows, the father of the fatherless, bless all those who remember the less privileged, the poor and the widows. Your own will not spoil. You will not lack, neither will you be in any condition that is less than where you are now."

Please say Amen to the prayers of these wonderful widows.

Gospel Dorcas Foundation aka ProjectDorcas International donates a second water project to the Motherless Babies Home Uzuakoli Nigeria!

The May outreach of Project Dorcas Foundation(a.k.a. Gospel Dorcas) was significant in many ways. Apart from touching the lives of motherless babies and orphans directly, it was an emotional moment.

Project Dorcas Foundation had previously, about 3 years ago, constructed water tanks and channeled water into different places at Motherless Babies Home Uzoakoli.

Most recently, the management of the Home needed extra water tanks as well as channelling of water to more places at the Home.

Through the kind partnersship and donations of our kind partners, Project Dorcas Foundation was able to move in, erected a new tank stand, mounted two big tanks as well as channeled water to the needed places (laundry, toilets)

At the hand over and dedication, the joy expressed by the management as well as the kids was so enormous. The Bishop of Uzoakoli Dioceses, Rt. Rev. Dr. James Anyanwu was on hand to receive and dedicate the water project.
He was full of kind words and prayers for the donors and partners.

It is our joy to always see these people who may not be able to give us back rejoice, and just as I said in my speech during the handover and dedication, we want to ensure that people in such homes enjoy the things we enjoy in our different homes.

Once again, the team of Gospel Dorcas Foundation aka Project Dorcas Foundation, comprising counselors and medical experts, visited Peniel Secondary School Umuahia for our Operation Clean Cycle.

Operation Clean Cycle is our pet project for sensitizing and creating awareness for the girl child towards menstrual hygiene, preparing them for the journey of womanhood.

It was a very beautiful outing as these young girls were educated on the need to prepare for the process that welcomes them into womanhood (menstruation). They were well educated, while a few of them who had questions were further enlightened.

Our counsellors also took time to minister to both the boys and the girls in the school on purpose and living for God. We prayed with them and also gifted sanitary pads to every girl present in the school, with instructions on how best to use the pads.

We will continue to contribute our quota to every segment of society as God gives us the grace.

Gospel Dorcas Foundation usually organizes free medical outreaches in different rural areas in Nigeria. But during these outreaches, we noticed that some persons may not be able to come to the venues of these outreaches which could be the nearest village hall, community square, etc.

For our March 2026 outreach, we now devised a means of visiting some of those who may not be able to come out to the central place for the free medical outreach, visiting them in their rooms, apartments and locations no matter where they are, and administering free medical care to them.

By the grace of God, last April, we were in Okoyi Isieke Ibeku, Umuahia North Abia State Nigeria, where our team visited the aged and sick who may not be able to make it out of their rooms and compounds.

They were diagnosed and given drugs that will last them for a while.

These are totally free of charge, courtesy of the partners of Gospel Dorcas Foundation.

At Project Dorcas Foundation, we believe that kindness becomes powerful when it is shared.

Recently, our team visited So-Said Destitute Home Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA, Abia State for our February outreach - a destitute home for the homeless and mentally challenged persons in Umuahia, to spend time with the residents and extend love through practical support. We came bearing food items and basic necessities — small gestures that carry a big message: you are seen, you are valued, and you are not forgotten.

Moments like this remind us that compassion is more than words; it is action. Seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, and sharing time together strengthened our commitment to continue reaching out to vulnerable communities.

At Project Dorcas Foundation, we remain dedicated to supporting lives, restoring dignity, and spreading hope wherever it is needed.

Last December, Gospel Dorcas International Foundation (Project Dorcas Foundation) embarked on its annual end of year food distribution/welfare visitation to rural areas tagged 'Operation Smile Again'. The team visited widows in Isieke Ibeku, Ikwuano, Ehume, and Obowo Imo State, encouraging them with small bags of rice, wrappers, foodstuffs, and cash, while sharing words of hope.

Among the recipients were three blind widows who do not have any form of help except when the Lord sends people like Project Dorcas Foundation and its partners.

There was a rain of blessings as these widows invoked God's blessings on those who sent the gifts, praying with tears in their eyes. Some of them had not received help from anyone for a while until the coming of our team.

We want to sincerely appreciate all our partners for their support, without which we would not have been able to achieve all this. We're trusting the Lord for a better year ahead and we want to do more. We request further partnership and support.

Deede m Revd Dr. Chidirim Okeiyi called me this morning and I missed the call as I was indoors preparing 7 different sermons I'm preaching between today and Sunday and he dropped this message(screenshot)...

My heart melted and I felt guilty cos this is a widow in Ikwuano LGA that ProjectDorcas International has been helping and even renovated and reroofed her house when rain wanted to finish her inside the house during the rainy season last two years...

But it's been a while we haven't visited cos of other areas of assignments...

But we plan to visit her and other of such widows/Indigents this Christmas and make them smile.
