Death has occurred to Alhaji Salihu Bayero, the Chairman of GAFDAN Jos South LGA and one of the founding members of the Association in Nigeria. Burial by 11:00am at his residence in Tilden Fulani and burial at Miya Berkete in Toro LGA of Bauchi State.
May Almighty Allah overlooks his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdausi.

FUYODA PULAAKU DAY, APPRECIATION MESSAGE TO THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF GAFDAN NIGERIA.

With immense pleasure and gratitude, the state Executive Council of FUYODA Plateau State, acknowledged and appreciate the presence of the National President of GAFDAN Nigeria, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Northwest Zonal coordinator, Alhaji Sagir Hamza , Alhaji Sule Waje, the National financial secretary, the Chairman, GAFDAN Plateau State, Chairman GAFDAN Bauchi State, Youth Leader, GAFDAN Plateau State- among others to the first of it kind FUYODA PULAAKU DAY as organized by the Fulɓe Youths Development Association _FUYODA, Plateau State under the leadership of Comr. AY Umar.
Furthermore, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, applauded the Fulɓe Youth on the plateau for organizing such a uniting and sensitizing event, and also make used of the opportunity to introduced AY Umar as the newly appointed National Assistant Publicity Secretary of GAFDAN Nigeria.
He reassured youths presence at the occasion, that they needs the wisdom of the old to be able to lead organizations and people. However, he reaffirmed that in some years coming soon, the youths will be the ones leading fulɓe organizations.
The FUYODA PULAAKU DAY held on Saturday 18th January 2025 at Shemshak Hotel Opposite University of Jos Main camp in Jos, the plateau state capital.

Ramatu Lawal, a pupil in SSS 1 at Community Secondary School Wase, presented a stirring speech that tackled the general perception of the Fulani people.

The speech had a profound impact on the dignitaries present, including the National President of GAFDAN Nigeria, who was visibly thrilled. Ramatu's speech earned her numerous gifts from dignitaries, including royal dignitaries.

By delivering the speech, Ramatu proved to Fulɓe elites that education is a potent tool for personal and societal growth, and highlighted the exceptional abilities of Fulɓe children.
