COHESION COHESION " The Youths, The Stars, The Future. We aim to achieve our stated goals through a year-long mentorship programme that is anchored on football.

The Cohesion Football Tournament is an opportunity to engage primary school children (ages 9 - 13) within areas that have a high rate of at-risk children, , substance abuse, and crime in Nigeria. The tournament is aimed at engaging these young children, steering them away from social vices while raising awareness to curb drugs, cultism, and alcohol consumption amongst children within this age brac

ket. Cohesion is an initiative designed to empower, enlighten, and mentor the next generation of leaders imbued with the core values, knowledge, and skills necessary to unlock their full potential and ultimately fulfil their life goals. Since our inception, we reached over 5000 kids - whom we fed and coached as part of a football tournament featuring 11-aside football teams and mentorship sessions. Through the coaching process, we were able to teach the children the importance of teamwork, leadership, patience, and focus - critical skills that they will need as future leaders and workers. We also provided them with a year-long access to mentors who guided and advised them.
