“And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.” (Matthew 9:10)

“If someone evil stops sinning and keeps my laws, if he does what is right and good, he will not die; he will certainly live. All his sins will be forgiven, and he will live, because he did what is right” “But if a righteous person stops doing good and starts doing all the evil, disgusting things that evil people do, will he go on living? No! None of the good he did will be remembered. He will die because of his unfaithfulness and his sins.” (Ezekiel 18:21-25)

ACTION: What is your choice? The publicans and sinners chose Jesus and were
saved. One of the two thieves on the side of Jesus during crucifixion chose
Jesus. Choose to follow and obey Jesus, no matter how hard it seems.

PRAYERS: Father God, please help us to control our desires and choose to do
Your will, so that all our previous good will not be in vain in Jesus name, Amen.
Jesus is just!

“Thy reign come: Thy will come to pass, as in heaven also on the earth.” (Matthew 6:10 YLT)

“Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, …..and He began to
be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Again, a second time, He went away and
prayed, saying, ‘O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I
drink it, Your will be done.’” (Matthew 26:36, 42)

ACTION: Let us willingly submit to God’s will and plans for us. In spite of the
intense pain, sorrow and distress, Jesus still prayed that God’s will be done. His
agony was terrible as he took our sins on himself so was separated from God.
Even though he prayed that the cup of suffering would pass from him, he still
yielded to God’s will with endurance, knowing the reason and end of it all.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant us the grace to willingly submit to God’s will in all things. Jesus is the Mediator of the new Covenant!

The Roses Ministry Warfare Prayer sessions continue to be a source of strength and spiritual empowerment for everyone who joins in. Through fervent prayers and faith in God's promises, both women and men are encouraged to overcome challenges, experience peace and grow in their confidence in Christ. Many participants testify to renewed hope, spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God.

A PRAYER FOR WEEK 35

“And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto
Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round
about me.”(Acts 22:6)

“You must shine among them like stars lighting up the sky, as you offer them
the message of life.”(Philippians 2:14-16 GNT)

The Roses pray for you and your loved ones this week, that you:
- will rise and shine like stars lightning up the sky in the darkness of the
depravity of this world;
- will submit as you receive the light of God’s revelation to guide you.
- you will not be clouded with complaining or arguing;
- you will receive grace to live a transformed life as an effective witness of the power of God's Word. In Jesus name, Amen.

ACTION: Strive to be the best you can be.

“And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are
clothed with strange apparel.” (Zephaniah 1:8)

“And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother,
for glory and for beauty.”(Exodus 28:2)

ACTION: Dress modestly to God’s glory. Will God punish people just because
of their clothing? These were leaders who, instead of showing good example to
the people, wore ‘strange apparel’ - foreign, pagan clothes. They desired and adopted pagan gods and pagan ways, ignoring and showing contempt for the
Lord’s commands. So, yes, God requires His people to seek holiness in clothing
and lifestyle too.

PRAYER: Father Lord, please grant us grace to seek to honour and glorify You above all other things. God is Holy!

“For the message is a witness to what is decreed; it gives reliable testimony
about how matters will turn out. Even if the message is not fulfilled right away,
wait patiently; for it will certainly come to pass -
it will not arrive late.”(Habakkuk 2:3NET)

“For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of
God, you may receive the promise:” (Hebrews 10:36)

ACTION: Obey and trust that God will work out His plans. Let us remind
ourselves of God’s faithfulness with past testimonies. This is especially
necessary when we face situations in which we have to patiently endure as we wait for God’s timing and intervention, even when we do not understand the
delays and reasons for certain occurrences in our lives. Evil and injustice seem to triumph at such times but God still works out all things to His glory.

PRAYER: Lord God, please strengthen and carry us through the storms of life
till your peace and solution prevails, in Jesus name, Amen. God is our peace!

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.” (Micah 4:1)

“But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.”(Daniel 7:18)

ACTION: Evangelise with the Word, Testimonies and lifestyle. In the end of time, believers in Christ Jesus shall receive the kingdom of heaven forever. What happens to the unbelievers? They also receive a kingdom but a lake of fire and brimstone. Shall we continue to enjoy our Christian life without the urgency to draw our acquaintances and loved ones out of this fire? No!

PRAYER: Lord, please give us the urgency and burden for bringing souls into the kingdom. God is the Beginning and the End!

“And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement
east wind; the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in
himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.” (Jonah 4:8)

“I continually discipline and punish everyone I love; so I must punish you unless you turn from your indifference and become enthusiastic about the things of
God.”(Revelation 3:19 TLB)

ACTION: Repent quickly of sins. Those who persist in rebellion against God
receive His harsh judgement.Sometimes we behave just like Jonah, selfishly angry and defiant, caring much more about the things we love (even inanimate
objects and our reputation) than people who are perishing from not knowing the Lord. In His mercy, God does not destroy us, but gently teaches us lessons to direct us back on the right pilgrim’s path. Receive it with humility.

PRAYER: Lord, please accept our sorrow for our disobedience, for taking You
for granted and preferring our will to Your glory, in Jesus name, Amen.
God is a disciplinarian!

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new
wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow
with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and
shall water the valley of Sh*ttim.” (Joel 3:18)

“So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to
bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with
milk and honey.” (Exodus 3:8)

ACTION: Yield to Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Receive this promise of
restoration for those who accept and obey the Lord. The Lord Himself will
deliver you out of the hand of oppressors with a release of unlimited blessings
and fruitfulness.

PRAYER: Lord God, please make us understand that though our deliverance
and blessings may tarry, it will surely come to pass at Your own right time. God is the Promise-Keeper!
