Today, LACSOP members joined key stakeholders at a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on assessing Nigeria’s Legal and Institutional Framework for addressing Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs).

The engagement brought together participants from civil society, academia, and the media to share practical insights, identify key challenges, and propose actionable recommendations to strengthen accountability systems.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to build the capacity of CSOs and the media to effectively combat illicit financial flows in Nigeria. The outcomes will inform a policy-relevant research report aimed at improving transparency and governance.

The session was organised by the African Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ).

LACSOP remains committed to advancing accountability, strengthening institutions, and supporting collaborative actions to curb illicit financial flows.
