Well, they are known as "styrofoam" and here's the catch: they are made to be used only 1⃣ once in a lifetime after which they never leave the planet !🌎 😳

✅To find out more, Swipe 🚛 through the carousels and learn about these plastics and why the recent ban⛔ in many big cities today!

This season could be a good time to practice composting in our little gardens and farms especially when we travel home to the village.

Here are 3 guides we can use to help us compost at home this season.

1⃣Use Direct composting : if you've got the space could either bury food scraps into the soil but unlike outdoor compost bin, there's a less chance to stir the soil and speed up the decay.

2⃣Make a compost bin: With all the food scraps and waste that come with the festivities, it makes it easier to start a compost bin in our homes.

3⃣Harmful food scraps:🍣 Be sure to keep oil, dairy,🥛 meat 🥩or pet waste from this pile as it could breed bad odour and brings germs to the mix.

✌🏽Altogether have fun sorting your waste for compost and find more for yourself today! 🥳

🥳Today we begin our countdown to a green holiday!

✨At WasteMeansMore, we were simply inspired by the love 💕💞and cheer that goes with the season but felt dissastisfied with the chunk of waste, insecurity challenges and all the excesses that come with the holidays.😓

♻️♻️Little or no environmental concern, impulsive spending habits, lots of single use packaging and whole lot more!

So our campaign would teach you new ways to love and cherish your special moments without compromising care for environment, how to show kindness that really matters and how to with the things and people that around you!

Cheers and Welcome on board its Day one already!🥳🥳🥳🥳
