Our Service Project for February 2024, titled CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAMME, was held at Ajeromi General Hospital, Ajegunle, Lagos. We had a very busy day addressing the participants that were present, answering their questions amd concerns, after the Awareness talk by the Doctor.

It was a very interesting session as most participants were unaware of Childhood Cancer and it's early detection and treatment.

A few of the participants came over privately to make more inquiries as it was really an eye opener for them.

In summary, the awareness talk was very well appreciated and fruitful.

Join us this coming Tuesday, the 20th of February, as the Lagos Surulere Lions Club takes the CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS PROGRAMME to Ajeromi General Hospital, in Lagos.

Lagos Surulere Lions Club, District 404B4, on Thursday 21st December, 2023, paid a visit to the Orphanage to share gifts and see our Lion baby girl - Oluwatoke Miracle - Lions Baby

It was such an emotional and heartwarming visit, as the staff & children at the orphanage were thrilled & very happy indeed to see us, & receive the material donations.

District 404B4 Diabetes Awareness Programme, took place on Tuesday 14th November, 2023.

Venue was Isolo General Hospital, Isolo, Lagos.

It kicked off at about 8,25am

We first had an Awareness walk:
Take off point from Apata Memorial High School, Ire-Akari, Isolo, Lagos and back to the Hospital.

There was Free Medical Checkup & Blood Sugar Test for attendees.

We learn life's deepest mysteries through eye contacts, because where words are restrained, the eyes talk a great deal.

But note; whatever serves you diligently, needs to be serviced joyfully, which is why Lions Clubs International District 404B4 Nigeria in conjunction with West Side Lions Club, Oklahoma City USA has thought it wise to serve humanity with this noble humanitarian activity.

It was indeed a very successful and well attended program.
