VISION 2025

The Man Chief (Dr) Tombra Oyinkepreye Eneware was born in Calabar in the late 50s and had his primary education first at Henshore Town Primary School and later at the Nigeria Baptist Convention School, Warri, between 1966 and 1972. He proceeded to Bomadi Grammar School, Bomadi, where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1979.

ENEWARE had Federal Government Scholarship for his Nigerian Certificate of Education in English/History from Federal College of Education affiliated to the University of Jos between 1980 and 1983. In his quest for quality education, he attended the University of Calabar and obtained Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1995.

ENEWARE further fuelled his hunger for a higher Certificate by obtaining Master of Education from University of Port Harcourt in 2012 and Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in Education from University of Port Harcourt in 2018.

ENEWARE'S working experience started as a Clerical Officer with the Nigerian Cocoa Board, Ibadan, Oyo State between 1979 and 1980. During his National Youth Service (NYSC) programme, he was a teaching Staff in Imo State between 1983 and 1984. Between 1984 and 1994, classroom teacher at Foropa. Between 1994 and 1997, he taught in various schools in Akubie, Orominike and Famgbe.

ENEWARE became a Deputy Director of Education, SUBEB between 1997 and 2012 and Registrar, Bayelsa State College of Arts and Science, Yenagoa (now Bayelsa State Polytechnic, Elebele/Aleibiri between 2012 and 2020.

ENEWARE retired meritoriously in 2020 and is currently the Deputy Registrar Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa. He is also a Consultant Administrative Contractor with the Bayelsa State Medical University.

ENEWARE has also exhibited leadership qualities in the following Associations/Organisations:
Secretary, Izon National Union, University of Calabar (UNICAL) Branch between 1993 and 1994;
President, National Union of Rivers State Students, UNICAL Branch between 1994 and 1995;
Protem Secretary, Kabuowei Union, Yenagoa/Member Memorandum Drafting Committee in 1999;
Member, Committee on Creation of Toru-Abubo RDA in 1999;
Member, Local Government Education Authority Board between 2007 and 2008;
Member, Nigeria Association for Education Administration and Planning, University of Port Harcourt Branch 2009.

ENEWARE having obtained Masters and PHD in his pursuit of education decided to have a stint in professional Associations namely:
FELLOW, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria in 2013;
MEMBER, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) in 2013.

ENEWARE was a former Secretary-General, Trofani Development Union, (TDU), a team player and holds the title of Tolumowei of Trofani and Olukomieowei of Kabuowei Clan, Bayelsa State. He is married with children.

ENEWARE prides himself to have assisted a lot of our people with employment some of whom have retired and he also is doing same at Bayelsa Medical University with admissions and employment of our youths.

Chief (Dr) Tombra O. Eneware brings experience to bare, is 'Trofani-centric', competent and has capacity to walk the talk.

Flood hits Trofani, divides the Domain from other parts of Bayelsa State. HRH Hycenth Ebenadoh Davian, the Amapere of Trofani was at his domain to assess the extent of damage done to the road linking Trofani with other parts of the State through the Odi/Trofani road.

His entourage was received by the Vice Chairman and Secretary of the CDC and indigenes and non indigenes, who kept vigil from the previous day and were present to create access routes into the Domain.

High Chief Collins B. Cocodia, Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Political Matters, accompanied by the Commissioner for Environment and Staff of Ministry of Works were also on ground to inspect and ascertain the extent of damage and proffer short term measures to address the hardship caused by the flood as it has cut off Trofani from the rest of the State, which is capable of negatively affecting the economic livelihood of the people.

High Chief Collins B. Cocodia assured the people of temporary measures to stop further damage and ensure easy access to goods and services in the interim to the Domain. He further assured of a more permanent solution after the flood. He appreciated the people for their quick response and pleaded with them to be patient with the Prosperity government.

The TDU Warri Branch Chairman, who is also the Chairman of the Flood Committee was on ground and according to report, also advised on possible short term measures.

The Amapere of Trofani on his part called on all relevant Agencies, particularly, the NDDC and other spirited individuals to come to the aid of Trofani.
