Eniola Ayedun Oduwole — born and raised in an Isese home, nurtured at the Ijo Orunmila Adulawo Temple, and serving as an Akorin of the temple — has emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student at Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade.

She also claimed the top spot in the Accounting Department with an exceptional CGPA of 3.95, and was specially honoured with the prestigious “One‑Day Rector” title — a rare and well‑deserved recognition of her brilliance and dedication.

His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Executive Governor of Ogun State, has formally recognised the invaluable role of His Royal Majesty Oba Kazeem Adeshina Salami, Osobia of Makun‑Omi, in the historic discovery of oil at Eba Island, Makun‑Omi, in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area.

This acknowledgement pays tribute to the Osobia’s unwavering commitment to the development of his domain, while underscoring the immense strategic and economic value of the Eba Island find for the entire Gateway State.
