We welcomed all qualified schools across Ogun State to Sagamu for the fifth Edition of the Adéwálé STEM 2025.

We are honoured to have the HRM Oba Adesegun Bolaji Alowonle, Elemuren of Emuren,
as our Father of the Day.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesegun Bolaji Alowonle (Owuyo V), is the Elemuren of Emuren, a prominent traditional ruler in the Emuren community of Ogun State.

He is recognised for his active engagement in community development, custodianship of culture, and collaboration with state authorities. His presence commands moral authority and communal legitimacy in the region.

Through traditional institutions, he supports local initiatives, advocates for grassroots progress, and presides over ceremonies and customary governance in Emuren.

We are honoured to have the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology of Ogun State as our guest of honour for the Adéwálé Students' Conference 5.0

Prof Abayomi, a distinguished mathematician and educator, held the position of Vice-Chancellor at Tai Solarin University of Education. He earned BSc and MSc degrees in Mathematics from the University of Lagos, followed by a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of the Western Cape, now part of the University of South Africa.

Over the past three decades, he has led projects that have contributed to the education of teachers, academic administration, research, and policy development. As the commissioner, he actively spearheads teacher retraining, digital learning initiatives and enforcement of quality standards in schools.

His expertise spans a unique blend of technical and strategic finance roles. He remains active in Africa’s investment and entrepreneurial ecosystem, having moderated sessions at leading continental platforms celebrating innovation and enterprise.

He will be live at the Adéwálé Students' Conference to share knowledge on how students can adapt to innovation in a fast-growing world.
