We are glad to announce that EDUDIET has expanded to Northern regions, starting with Sokoto State, Nigeria.
This is to put into practice the robust training we had at Enterprise Development Centre, Lagos Business School, sponsored by Teach for Nigeria.
On Tuesday, August 27th, EDUDIET carried out an impactful community outreach coordinated by Ambassador Kabiru Aminu (FLMI).
This took place at RIJIYAR SHEHU MINANNATA AREA, SOKOTO STATE.
The children were taught personal hygiene tips and environmental sanitation.
This project further promoted EDUDIET goal which is promoting good health and well-being to children in underserved communities while fostering quality education.
We also had a key stakeholder engagement meeting with Hon. Bello Ahmad (ASCO), a respected figure in the area. His support was vital, not just for the event itself, but for the long-term impact we hope to have on the community.
Similarly, the trust and involvement of Mansur Ahmad, a dedicated guardian who stood by us from start to finish, helped paved way for our mission.
The main event was nothing short of inspiring.
The children were also taught Dental hygiene
and proper techniques that would help them maintain healthy habits for years to come.
Looking ahead, the impact of our work in Sokoto State goes beyond just a day of learning. It’s about planting seeds—small actions that grow into lifelong habits.
By focusing on these "little things," we're helping to build a healthier, stronger community, one child at a time.
We look forward to Collaborating with more Ambassadors, Organizations and individuals whose vision align with ours.
