From Smartphones to Opportunities
A smartphone can be more than a device, it can be a tool for creativity, learning and livelihood.

That us what Group 3 demonstrated through their mini-project

Every young person has a story worth telling.
This training gave participants the tools to create, edit and share their stories with confidence because empowerment begins when people discover their voice.
Lionism in action.

Here is Group 2 mini-project. We saw confidence building during the learning process. Indeed, your story matters.

‎EMPOWERING YOUNG MINDS, ONE STORY AT A TIME!
‎
‎What an exciting and impactful day at the Port Harcourt Crystal Lions Club Youth Empowerment Project!
‎
‎Over 30 young people came together for an engaging, hands-on training in Content Creation & Digital Storytelling—learning how to turn their smartphones into tools for creativity, communication and opportunity.
‎
‎From content ideas and storytelling to phone videography, Reels, CapCut editing, social media and monetising their skills, participants didn't just learn, they created, practised and had fun!
‎
‎It was exciting to see young people discover that their voices, ideas and stories matter and that they have the power to tell those stories to the world.
‎
‎This is what youth empowerment looks like: equipping, inspiring and creating opportunities.
