One of the most intriguing aspects of this training for me was seeing the active participation of differently abled persons (persons with disabilities) throughout the programme.
What stood out was not just their presence, but their willingness to learn, engage and improve their products. They participated actively in the different sessions, asked questions, shared their perspectives and, most importantly, took part in the breakout session.
During the breakout session, participants were given the opportunity to examine one another’s products, identify areas that could be improved and share practical suggestions on how to make those products better.
It was inspiring to see differently abled persons (persons with disabilities) actively involved in these conversations,critically looking at products, receiving feedback and thinking about how they could improve what they are building.
More attention, opportunities and practical education should be given to persons with disabilities.
Not because we should lower the standards for them, but because they deserve access to the same knowledge, opportunities and platforms to develop their skills, build sustainable businesses and compete confidently.
Their willingness to learn and grow is a reminder that sometimes, what people need most is not sympathy, but opportunity, access and the right environment to thrive.
