Export training is something every young person should be exposed to. It’s not only for big businessmen or the elite. With the right knowledge, small capital, consistency, and good connections, anyone can build opportunities that reach beyond Nigeria and connect with the world.

At the Institute, we believe export is for everyone. That is why we can train not just individuals, but also communities, youth groups, associations, schools, and organizations when sponsored. Imagine empowering a whole community with skills that can create income, jobs, and global opportunities.

You don’t need millions to start. Sometimes, what changes your life is simply the right information and guidance. The world is bigger than your environment, and export can open that door.

We had an incredible time at the NESS Sensitization Seminar in PortHarcourt.

Our executive secretary proudly represented IEOM both as a speaker and moderator for the panel session. He spoke on Assessing export market: Building global readiness for SMEs, delivering powerful insights on Export procedures in Nigeria to accurate export planning, to contract and product sourcing, and even the essentials of packaging for SMEs in the global market.

One key highlight? The conversation around Formal and Informal Exports, sheds light on why structure, compliance, and strategy are critical for sustainable growth in international trade.

Beyond the learning, the seminar created a space for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among experts

At IEOM, we remain committed to empowering businesses with the right tools and knowledge to thrive in the global market.
Our next event is the Global Trade Review (GTR) in Lagos, and you can send us a dm if you are interested to be part for this global event

The IWD 2026 Ceremonial Event was a remarkable celebration of impact, growth, and empowerment.

Following an intensive digital skills training, several women who developed their own products were given the opportunity to proudly showcase their innovations, a true reflection of transformation in action.

The event also featured insightful guest speakers who addressed key areas affecting women today. From the importance of prioritizing health and the benefits of enrolling in an HMO, to enlightening discussions on women’s rights, participants were equipped with knowledge that empowers beyond business.

A major highlight of the event was the official launch of the EmpowerHer Cooperative, an initiative with a strong mandate to support women in scaling their businesses and accessing global opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our sponsors and partners whose support made this event a success.

Together, we are not just celebrating women, we are building women to thrive globally.
