The Institute of Export Operations and Management (IEOM) was honoured to participate in the RUFORUM, Mastercard Foundation TAGDev 2.0 event held at the University of Port Harcourt, themed:
“Inclusive Education, Society and Development: Pathway for Building Resilient Food Systems.”
The event brought together leaders from academia, government, development organizations, and the private sector to explore solutions for building resilient food systems through inclusive education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
This vision aligns closely with IEOM’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs, youth and graduates, persons with disabilities (PWDs), SMEs, farmers, agro-processors, exporters, cooperatives, and startups through export education, digital trade, and enterprise development.
Through export education, enterprise development, digital trade, and capacity building, we remain committed to ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing opportunities within the global marketplace.
We are proud to have been part of this impactful event, where our members gained valuable insights, built meaningful connections, and expanded their entrepreneurial perspectives.
As part of our contribution to the event, a talented team of persons with disabilities (PWDs) presented a beautifully crafted portrait of the Executive Secretary of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM). The presentation was a heartfelt expression of gratitude for RUFORUM’s unwavering commitment to promoting inclusion, empowering underserved communities, and creating opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive.
The moment was a powerful reminder that talent knows no disability and that inclusive platforms not only transform lives but also unlock the immense potential that exists within every community.
We appreciate RUFORUM, the Mastercard Foundation, TAGDev 2.0, and the University of Port Harcourt for creating this impactful platform and look forward to future collaborations that promote inclusion, sustainable development, and economic empowerment.
