October every year is Breast Cancer Awareness Month....
Thr Global theme this year is, "No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone"....
This resonates strongly with us at African Health Development Initiative where it is a foundational philosophy which led to the birth of the Breast Cancer Management Network in 2017....
This year we will be stepping things up a notch at the network by strengthening the core and expanding our services.....
The aim is to achieve rhe following:
1. Expand the network to provide all level of services from preventive screening to treatment covering everything in between.
2. Continue to provide timely, efficient and effective services within the network by establishing universal treatment protocol within the network.
3. Establishing a pocket friendly tariff wothin the network.
4. Training our support groups to serve as patient navigators.
5. Establishing a finance mechanism for indigenous patients and those needing assistance financially.
The best brains and experts in the Breast Cancer space will be seated at a round table to turn these into walking, living processes that will impact the lives of our women positively.
