The Federal Government has opened applications for the 2026 TVET programme.
This programme will teach young Nigerians practical work skills FOR FREE and also pay them ₦22,500 every month while learning.

Think of it like this:
Instead of sitting at home without work, you can learn a skill like:
• Tailoring
• Welding
• Solar installation
• ICT repairs
• Agriculture
…and get paid while learning.

The training is FREE
No school fees.
The government says selected people will also receive:
• Monthly allowance
• Certificate after training
• Startup tools/support for some participants

Training centres are available across Nigeria, so people from different states can apply.
The programme may last between 6 months and 1 year depending on the skill you choose.

Why many people are excited:
Most empowerment programmes only talk.
This one promises:
👉 Training
👉 Money during training
👉 Startup support after training
That means people can learn and quickly start earning money.

Who can apply?
• Young Nigerians without jobs
• School leavers
• Graduates
• People without university degrees
• Anyone serious about learning a skill
Even people with little education can still qualify.

To apply, you need things like:
• NIN
• BVN
• Interest in learning a skill
• Commitment to finish the training
Both graduates and non-graduates are welcome.

The ₦22,500 monthly allowance is helpful, but the real value is the skill itself.
A good skill can feed you for many years if you take it seriously.

The government has not announced a closing date yet, but applications are already ongoing.
Many Nigerians are expected to apply, so early application is important because spaces are limited.

In simple terms:
The government is saying:
“Come and learn a useful skill for free, collect small monthly support, and possibly get tools to start your own business after training.”

Moments like this we take deep breaths to realize how important fathers take private administrative responsibilities especially in such economy hardship but fathers still stand tall enough to be a blessing to children and grandchildren and I pray God bless responsible fathers...Amen🙏 Happy Fathers day ❤❤❤
