Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in partnership with The University of Buckingham will be sponsoring 150 classroom teachers in Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency for the University of Buckingham (UoB) International Diploma of Education (iDE) January cohort of the 2025-2026 session.

The minimum academic requirement is an O'level / WASSCE with 5 credits (Inclusive of Mathematics and English) and currently a classroom teacher.

Technical Requirement:

You should have and know how to use an internet-enabled device (mobile phone, tablet, or laptop).

The iDE will be delivered through a Learning Management System (LMS), accessible via a mobile application or a web browser. Users must possess the technical know-how to navigate a smartphone, as familiarity with mobile devices is essential. The app requires a mobile device with Android version 7 or higher, or iOS version 10 or higher.

For Rep O. K. Chinda; the member representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency, it has always been to teach his constituents how to catch fish themselves through various skills training and empowerment programmes which he organises every year.

This December 2023; we shall have Phase 2 of the Rep O. K. Chinda Training for Professionals in Obio/Akpor (60 professionals) to enhance service delivery and the 5th Phase of Skills Acquisition Training for 60 Youths in Obio/ Akpor Federal Constituency.

It will be a celebration and learning kind of December.

We wish to inform constituents of Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency and the general public that the Obio/Akpor Embassy House, Abuja which has been partially closed for some months due to renovation is now fully open.

Rep. O. K. Chinda regrets any inconveniences this may have caused anyone as this was necessary to give visitors a more comforting stay while at the Embassy House, Abuja.

For those who are not aware of the Obio/Akpor Embassy House, Abuja; The Embassy House which is located at no 60 Pomona Street, Sun City Estate, Galadimawa, Abuja was established in 2011 by Rep O. K. Chinda; member representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency to serve as a short-stay to constituents who visit Abuja for their businesses.

BOOKING:

The Obio/Akpor Embassy House offers only 3 nights of accommodation based on space availability. Interested persons who wish to stay at the Embassy House are expected to call the numbers below 7 – 5 days before the arrival date to make an official booking and wait for approval; when approved, a form will be sent to you to fill out to confirm your booking.
