We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for ProjectWIPE! Waste Innovation and Pollution Eradication - WIPE

The Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan has officially endorsed our proposal for the sustainability of the ProjectWIPE Environmental Sustainability Club and Youth Upcycling Training.

According to the signed agreement, the Rotary Club will now take on the management and funding of the Environmental Sustainability Club at Community Secondary School Nkoplu (Mile 3 Diobu), and this collaboration will also focus on scaling the upcycling training to reach more young people and create a greater impact.

This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to promote environmental sustainability stewardship, innovation, and economic development through youth empowerment.

Appreciation to the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan for their unwavering support and commitment to this initiative. We are confident that we can expand our efforts and continue to drive positive change in our community.

The ProjectWIPE team had the privilege of attending an inspiring workshop organized by one of our key implementing partners, the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan, in celebration of World Youth Skills Day. The event held on Thursday 18th July 2024, titled "Unleashing Potentials for Peace and Sustainable Development", was a fantastic opportunity to engage with passionate individuals dedicated to making a positive impact.

During the workshop, we shared our Project WIPE activities and achievements, spreading the important message of environmental sustainability. The event was a remarkable platform to highlight our collective efforts in promoting innovative waste management practices and empowering young minds.

We are also thrilled to announce that two of our Project WIPE nominated volunteers were recognized for their exceptional sustainability skills, creativity, and passion. This acknowledgment underscores the dedication and hard work of our volunteers in driving change and fostering a sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Cosmopolitan for organizing such a meaningful event and for their continuous support.
