Who is an Architect?

Beyond drawings and buildings, an architect shapes how we live, work, and experience the world around us. From concept to completion, we bring together creativity, safety, sustainability, and function to deliver spaces that truly serve people.

This campaign seeks to shed light on the role and value of the architect in our everyday lives.

Watch, learn, and engage as we tell our story.

International Women’s Day 2026❤️♥️🌹

Today we celebrate the strength, creativity, and leadership of women shaping our profession and our world.

Under this year’s theme “Give to Gain,” may we continue to support one another, share knowledge, create opportunities, and inspire the next generation of women in architecture and the built environment.

Together, our contributions build stronger institutions, stronger communities, and a better future.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸✨

Architecture shapes lives. It shapes policy. It shapes nations.

The NIA PR Theme 2026 reinforces our collective responsibility to position architecture as a true public good—one that delivers measurable value and drives national development.

Aligned with the PNIA’s agenda, this theme will be activated through the Strategic Committees, Council, and the shared leadership of members across the built environment.

In 2026, the Nigerian Institute of Architects amplifies the role of architecture in building a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous Nigeria.
