This one came from the heart. 🙏🏾💗
A huge thank you to Aplus Health and Research Initiative for leading this incredible initiative and for inviting GIRIF to be part of it.
To everyone who contributed — whether through donations, supplies or simply showing up, you made 60+ inmates feel seen, valued and loved. 💛
That is the power of community. That is why we do this. 🌍
We will keep showing up. Because no one should ever be forgotten. 🙏🏾

None of this would have been possible without you. 🙏🏾💗
To Samuel Djirackor and the entire Haven of Love Children’s Foundation team, thank you for your leadership, your heart and your commitment to making this dream a reality. Your dedication to rural communities is truly inspiring. 💛
To our health professionals, volunteers, local leaders and every community member who opened their doors and their hearts, we see you and we are deeply grateful.
To the women who showed up, trusted us and took that brave step towards their health, you are the reason we do this. You are the reason we will keep going. 💗
The outreach may have ended but the mission never stops. Because every woman matters and early detection saves lives. 🌍
Thank you for standing with GIRIF. 🙏🏾

The numbers speak for themselves. 📊💗
During the 2025 Free Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Outreach, hundreds of women across the Upper East Region received free screenings, professional care and vital health education…many for the very first time.
From community to community, we met women where they were. We screened. We educated. We protected lives. 🙏🏾
For so many of these women, access to healthcare is not guaranteed. But for those days in December, it was. And that changes everything. 💛
Early detection saves lives. And together, we are making that possible…one woman, one community at a time. 🌍

Taking you back to December 2025. 🩺💗
Haven of Love Children’s Foundation in collaboration with Global Impact For Rural Innovation Foundation (GIRIF) organized a powerful Free Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening Outreach across multiple communities in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
From Nabdam to Apoodabogo, Teshie and Sapeliga….our teams showed up where it mattered most, bringing free screenings, health education and professional care directly to women in underserved communities.
Because every woman deserves access. Every woman deserves early detection. Every woman matters. 💛
Stay with us as we take you through this journey. 🙏🏾

When the work speaks loud enough to make the news. 🙏🏾📺
We were honoured to have our founder Obipiseibima Priscillia Aggokabo-Fatchu (PhD, FRSPH) featured on The Pulse on Joy News joining an important conversation on Cervical Cancer Screening: Empowering Women, Saving Lives.
This is exactly what GIRIF stands for…taking rural health advocacy beyond the communities and into national conversations. Because the more we talk about it, the more lives we save. 💗
Cervical cancer is preventable. Early detection saves lives. And we will keep showing up in communities, in clinics and on every platform until every woman has access. 🌍

The smiles say it all. 💗
On May 27–28, GIRIF joined hands with Happy Girls Foundation to commemorate World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 and what a powerful two days it was.
From Asukawkaw to Dormabin, we educated, screened, and showed up for girls and women in our communities. Together we:
✅ Conducted health education & HPV screening
✅ Held a float from Asukawkaw to Dormabin

None of this would have been possible without our amazing supporters, donors, and volunteers who believed in the mission.
To every hand that gave, every foot that marched, every heart that showed up thank you.
Together, we are building a period friendly world. 🌍
