ABOUT US

HOME :The African society is an environment that rarely supports the education of the girl child; girls grow up without a commensurate level of education and poise. There is so much plaguing the ideologies of the African woman; from her geographical placement to the colour of her skin coupled with illiteracy is perceived to be limiting factor for her. In the multitude of her plagues, the African woman has the smartest mind, a beautiful face and an amazing physique; she is hard-working, full of energy and very resilient. AWMII is an initiative that believes in the educational emancipation and “geographical revival” of the African Woman. As women we can build a Continent worthy of contentment.

WHO WE ARE : African Women Mentoring and Inspiring Initiative (AWMII) is a conglomeration of African women from all works of life, who have thrived and are still thriving in their fields and disciplines despite the hurdles faced. AWMII is a group of professionally like-minded women with the mandate of mentoring/coaching women of all ages, especially young women in Career, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Development. AWMII is saddled with the responsibilities of helping the girl child know her worth via mentorship and periodic training that spurs the mind into creative thinking giving ease to goal attainment.

WHAT WE DO : AWMII is established to create a pathway to Self-Discovery for the African Woman, helping her find global relevance for her worth beyond her body. Statistics has it that most African women who leave the shores of Africa pr******te to survive but AWMII is here to change the narratives. As women we can build the Africa we want to see and be proud of, a Continent that attracts others for its rich culture, entertainment, hospitality and resources both natural and otherwise. We carry out trainings in school (primary, secondary and tertiary), rural communities and urban societies.

We mentor and Inspire via the followings: - Humanitarian action - Youth Development - Women Empowerment - Reproductive Health awareness Campaign - Leadership Participation- Career Mentoring - Capacity Development - Technology Centered Training - Provide Support for R**e Victims - Carry out Violence against Women Campaign
