Maybe life is a little like that too.
Sometimes, it’s not about moving faster.

And yes, that includes making sure you’re not sitting at the table wondering, So when are they bringing the food?

For The Mom & Daughter Ball, we wanted our mothers and daughters to be able to settle in, enjoy themselves and be properly taken care of.

As mothers, we pay attention to the schools our daughters attend, the books they read, the places they go and the opportunities they have.

But there’s another question worth asking:
Who are they getting to know?

That’s part of what we are building at The Mom & Daughter Ball.

A community where mothers connect, but where daughters also get to meet, interact, form friendships and grow their world.

Because we’re not only raising daughters.

We’re helping shape the environments they grow in.

There is something about seeing mothers and daughters seated together that makes you pause.

The outfits are beautiful, yes.

But look a little closer.

Look at who is sitting beside whom.
That is the real picture.

A little space intentionally created for Mum and Daughter to simply enjoy being together.

And judging from these pictures, they understood the assignment.
