Today, the 12th of August, 2022, the Port Harcourt Golden Lions Club of Region 10 District 404A2 Nigeria embarked on Club Awareness and a Health Campaign relating to free screening for Diabetes and High Blood Pressure at the mile 1 Park Abali, Port Harcourt.

World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes place every year on the 28th of July, bringing the world together under a single theme to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change.

In 2023 the theme is "We're not waiting."

Each form of the virus, however, can cause more severe symptoms. Symptoms of hepatitis A, B and C may include fever, malaise, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal discomfort, dark-coloured urine and jaundice (a yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes).
