At Port Harcourt Crystal Leo Club, we believe that when women rise, communities thrive — and we remain committed to supporting initiatives that empower and uplift them.

March also reminds us of our unwavering commitment to service.
From community outreaches and youth empowerment programs to environmental sustainability and health interventions, we continue to serve with compassion and dedication.

This month, we also spotlight our *Heart Surgery Project* — a life-changing initiative aimed at giving hope, healing, and a second chance at life to those in need of critical cardiac care.
Through collective effort, partnerships, and generosity, we are not just raising awareness — we are saving lives and strengthening families.

In markets, schools, hospitals, and neighborhoods across Port Harcourt, our presence reflects love in action, leadership in service, and unity in purpose.

In the true spirit of “We Serve,”
Lions International, Leo District 404A2 proudly carried out a Twinning Project: Visit to the Prison Hygiene/Medical Outreach, uniting hearts, hands, and hope across borders and clubs.

On Saturday, 24th January 2026, members of Port Harcourt Crystal Leo Club, in twinning with Ibom Elite Leo Club, and Oron Anchor Town New Leo Club, came together for one powerful cause, to restore dignity, show compassion, and remind inmates that they are not forgotten.

This project took place across three locations (Port Harcourt, Uyo, and Oron), this project went beyond distribution of hygiene and medical items. It was a message of love. A reassurance of hope. A reminder that humanity still sees them, still cares, and still believes in second chances.

With every item shared and every smile exchanged, walls were broken not prison walls, but walls of neglect, silence, and abandonment. This was more than outreach; it was service in its purest form.
One project. Same time. Multiple clubs, one heartbeat of service.

When Leos unite, lives are touched, hope is restored, and humanity wins

We had our prison outreach project on Saturday, and it wasn’t just another project for us.

It held deep meaning — as it coincided with our 3-year anniversary as a club. Three years of service, growth, and choosing impact.

Phones and cameras weren’t allowed inside the ward, so we couldn’t capture the moments that mattered most.

But these are a few moments from the preparation and just before we went in — where we shared blankets, toiletries, and hygiene items.

Some moments are meant to be felt, not photographed. 🦁💛
