Non-Indigene Stakeholders Meeting
Date: 28th May 2026
Venue: Phalga Leaders House, Mr. Harrison Michael, Warri Street, D/Line, Port Harcourt
1. Opening
- Opening Prayer: Led by Mr. Samuel Ibok-Udo
2. Remarks & Welcoming Address
Delivered by Mr. Harrison Michael, Leader of Phalga Non-Indigene Stakeholders:
- Welcomed all members to the first stakeholders’ meeting following the party primary.
- Emphasized that Phalga LGA is our stronghold and must be strengthened further to make High Chief Amb. Mike Oyiakhire, President General, proud of the LGA’s performance.
- Stressed the need to make both the LGA and ward structures effective, noting that Phalga is regarded as the “mother” of the 23 LGAs in the state.
- Announced recent ward appointments:
- Hon. Mrs. Nancy introduced Mr. Samuel Ibok-Udo as Ward 20 Non-Indigene Ward Coordinator.
- Alhaji Hussaini Isa Madaki, Sarkin Hausawa Rivers State, presented Mallam Danladi as Non-Indigene Ward 1 Coordinator.
3. Contributions & Resolutions
Sunday Akan, State Acting Youth Leader:
- Urged all stakeholders to support the leadership of High Chief Amb. Mike Oyiakhire.
- Proposed visits to low-activity wards to identify challenges and begin inaugurations across PHALGA.
Hussaini Audu Nda, Arewa State Chairman:
- Stated that under High Chief Amb. Mike Oyiakhire’s leadership, the community will reach its goals.
- Recommended replacing ward leaders who are unstable or inactive.
Ibrahim Lilly, State Secretary General, Non-Indigene Rivers State:
- Commended Wards 4, 5, 6, 7, 16, and 19 for their commitment and for actively promoting PHALGA Non-Indigene under the leadership of High Chief Amb. Mike Oyiakhire.

5. Key Resolutions / Highlights
1. Consolidate PHALGA LGA as a stronghold for the Non-Indigene community.
2. Strengthen LGA and ward structures for effective mobilization and representation.
3. Ratify appointments of new ward coordinators for Ward 1 and Ward 20.
4. Begin visits and inaugurations for inactive wards within PHALGA.
5. Replace unstable or uncommitted ward leaders to ensure active representation.
6. Adjournment
The meeting ended with a call for unity, commitment, and continued collaboration to advance the interests of the Non-Indigene community in PHALGA and across Rivers State.
