Full list of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution (PHED) ‘Band A’ areas and New Tariffs price
In Nigeria, the Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved a significant increase in electricity tariffs for customers classified under Band A. The new tariffs, which were approved on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2024, will affect some customers of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHEDC. The charge per kilowatt-hour (KW/h) for this category of customer will be N225, which marks a sharp increase from the previous rate of N66 electricity tariff.
Band A customers are classified as high-end residential and commercial customers who consume a large amount of electricity.
Below are the Band A areas of PHEDC affected by the new tariff:
