Seek First. Trust Always.
Let’s break it down:
What is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God isn’t just a place in heaven it’s God’s rule and reign over our hearts, our decisions, and our lives. It means living under His love, His truth, His ways, and not the world’s. It’s choosing His will over our own. It’s a life where God leads, and we follow with trust.
What is Righteousness?
Righteousness means being in right standing with God but it’s more than just doing “good things.” It’s a life that reflects God’s heart. It’s loving what He loves, living with integrity, showing mercy, walking in humility, and staying aligned with His truth not just when people are watching, but when no one is.
Seeking God’s Kingdom means seeking to do the right thing.
God’s Kingdom is His ways, His presence, His truth, and His life. It’s like a Kingdom where His commandments are the culture, and when you seek to live in that Kingdom you begin to live a righteous life.
Righteousness isn’t about trying to be perfect or looking holy in front of others. It’s about what grows out of being close to God the fruits of His Spirit. It’s loving your neighbor, caring for people genuinely, choosing peace over pride, and showing mercy not just being “good,” but doing it out of love, because it’s what God wants.
Sometimes I struggle not just with how I respond to others, but in my own personal life.
Life gets heavy. Emotions get messy. I don’t always get it right. But through it all, I’ve learned this:
If I seek Him first, I can trust Him always.
He knows my heart.
He sees what I can’t.
He strengthens me when I feel weak.
He teaches me how to love when I feel lost.
Let me be real there are moments I’ve spoken out of frustration or confusion. I’ve talked about things and people I didn’t fully understand. But even in those moments, God is gently working on me. Reminding me to come back to Him. To love better. Speak wiser. Choose compassion over judgment.
This is Kingdom living.
It’s not about pretending it’s about pursuing.
It’s about letting God reign over your thoughts, your actions, your responses even your mistakes.
And the beautiful part?
When you seek God first, He takes care of the rest.

So no matter where you are, or what you’re facing:
Seek first. Trust always.
